Luminous turquoise ovals appear around the circumference of these generously sized hoop earrings, along with wrapped rows of seed pearls. The long, linear silhouette is typical of the early Victorian period, when graceful restraint was prized over showy excess. There's a whiff of Neoclassicism here, but it's understated.
