Dendritic agate contains inclusions that sometimes look like ferns, trees, or moss. They can appear like miniature painted landscapes, or resemble squiggling amoebas under a microscope. Each one is completely unique, with patterns that invite your own interpretations. The Georgians and Victorians loved this stone: it allowed them to meditate on the idea that nature is the greatest artist of all.
